From her 16 years of work on the Tuscaloosa City Council to her career as an attorney and businesswoman, she’s proven her commitment to build Tuscaloosa’s future with strong values and smart planning.

I will be honest, hardworking, and available to the people of Tuscaloosa, Northport, and West Alabama. This is my home, and I am honored to be able to represent my friends and neighbors in Montgomery.

• Chairs the Tuscaloosa County Legislative Delegation

• Sponsored or co-sponsored 5 bills that passed during her first term including to expedite payments to victims of violent crimes

• Lifelong resident of Tuscaloosa who attended Tuscaloosa City Schools and graduated from Central High School and The University of Alabama

• Represented District 3 on the Tuscaloosa City Council for 16 years, including serving as Council President for 4 years

• Helped guide the city through the economic depression of 2008, the aftermath of the 2011 tornadoes, and the financial impact of COVID19

• Worked to create a strong financial and business climate in Tuscaloosa and West Alabama

• Served as The University of Alabama School of Law’s Assistant Dean for Advancement and has run a private law practice since 2006
